A benefit blood drive for Grady County deputy Capt. Terry Alexander is Thursday, Jan. 22nd, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Grady County Fairgounds  Alexander will receive a credit for his treatment for each donation. All blood types are welcome. 

Southern Oaks Church of Christ operates a food pantry in Chickasha,  providing food assistance to those in need.
The pantry is open every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at 114 South 5th Street.
Families may recieve one box of groceries from the pantry per month.  Proof of residency is required.
