Boxed beef cutout values were higher Monday compared to Friday. Choice closed at $391.29, up $4.07, while Select finished at $383.62, up $4.67. The Choice-Select spread narrowed to $7.67 from $8.27 on Friday, with 48 loads reported.  

Among the primals, Rib increased to $534.97 from $533.63, Chuck rose to $338.49 from $331.98, Round moved up to $350.23 from $349.43, Loin climbed to $512.85 from $507.36, Brisket increased to $319.19 from $310.15, Plate edged higher to $286.82 from $285.33, and Flank rose to $199.38 from $196.67.
