The Chickasha Elks Lodge will holds its annual kids' fishing derby on Saturday, June 11th at Chickasha's Shannon Springs Park. Its free for kids 12-and-under. Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. with fishing starting at 9. A free lifetime fishing license will be given away. Free hot dogs and drinks will be served afterward.

A free music jamboree will be held the second Saturday of each month. There is bluegrass, country, folk, and gospel music. Donations will be accepted. There are door prizes and free sandwiches. Sponsors are Chet and Jallane Link.
Twisterfest, a three-day outdoor concert at the Muscle Car Ranch in Chickasha, is June 10th-12th. The Ranch is about a half-mile south of 16th and Country Club Road, just outside the Chickasha city cimits. Camping is available. Tickets available in advance or at the gate.
